Preparatory Course for Musical Creative Art and Musicology Study

Duration: 10 months​​​

Aim of the program: The objective of this preparatory course is to equip foreign students for the entry tests required by Hungarian higher education institutions of music. Besides systematizing their previously acquired music knowledge and experience, students can improve their musical skills and theoretical understanding, enabling them to meet the requirements for pursuing their studies in higher education (BA or MA).

Entry requirements:

  • High school certificate

  • Certificate of musical pre-training

  • English language proficiency

  • Entrance examination

 

Period of training: 2 semesters (September–December and January-April) 

Subjects:

  • Music Theory

  • Musicianship (Solfeggio)

  • Piano (excluding piano major subject)

Tuition Fee: 7,000 USD/year​​​​

One-time fees: Application fee 150 USD, entrance procedure fee 350 USD​​​
