As a result, diplomas obtained from the University of Debrecen are generally accepted in countries within the European Union. Additionally, all our programs are accredited by the Hungarian Accreditation Board, which is part of the European Accreditation Board.

Medical programs are accredited by various international bodies, including the World Health Organization (WHO), the State Education Department (NY, USA), the Medical Board of California, the Medical Councils of India (where a qualifying exam is mandatory), the General Medical Council (UK), and authorities in Israel, Ireland, Iran, Norway, and the United Arab Emirates.

The Hungarian Accreditation Committee has been granted Recognition Status by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) until March 31, 2032.
